Job summary

EDGE is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer based in Abu Dhabi to design, develop, and validate the electrical integration of radar, EW, C2, and sensor systems onto naval, ground, and airborne platforms. You will define mounting, power distribution, grounding, and environmental protection, and you will lead hardware installation and testing activities across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in electrical integration of electronic equipment onto vehicles, vessels, or aircraft.
PLC programming in platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric; HMI/SCADA systems; Industrial networks: Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP.
Knowledge of power distribution, grounding/bonding, and EMI shielding practices.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-810G or equivalent environmental qualification standards.
Experience with CAD tools for electrical layout.
Hands-on experience with installation tooling, torque specs, and workmanship standards.
Willingness to travel to integration/test sites, including desert/field campaigns and naval facilities.

Responsibilities

Design and validate electrical integration of radar, EW, C2, and sensors on naval, land, and airborne platforms.
Define equipment racking, mounting, power distribution, grounding/bonding, and environmental protection per MIL-STD-810G requirements.
Perform electrical interface analysis: weight, power, cooling, and vibration per platform.
Prepare electrical installation drawings, interconnection diagrams, and cable-routing plans.
Lead hardware installation activities and coordinate with technicians.
Support electrical safety checks, power-up sequences, and troubleshooting.
Support environmental and qualification testing (vibration, shock, ingress protection, thermal).
