Job summary

Gradiant in Dubai seeks a seasoned Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, review and delivery of SLDs, earthing layouts and instrument data sheets. You will supervise LV/MV installations, FAT/SAT, vendor reviews and commissioning, coordinating PLC/DCS/SCADA configurations to ensure safe, reliable plant performance per IEC, ISA and HAZOP.

This role requires 5–10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/instrumentation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering.
5–10+ years of relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems engineering.
Strong knowledge of IEC, ISA, IEEE, ATEX, SIL, HAZOP.
Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Yokogawa.
Solid understanding of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, motors, and motor starters.

Responsibilities

Develop and review electrical, instrumentation, and control system deliverables.
Review vendor quotations and bid evaluations.
Supervise LV/MV equipment installation, wiring and earthing works on site.
Support energization activities, loop checks, and commissioning.
Develop and review control system engineering documents (FDS, C&E, CST, alarm/trip schedules).
Configure PLC/DCS/SCADA/HMI systems including logic, interlocks, and graphics.
Lead FAT/SAT for PLC- and SCADA-based systems and coordinate interlock testing.
