Job summary
Genius Consultants is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician in Dubai to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems across HV, MV, and LV equipment. You will support DCS/PLC/SCADA, pipeline monitoring, leak detection, and fibre optic networks while ensuring safety and compliance in hazardous areas.
Responsibilities include asset management, documentation, and coordination with control systems and security systems.
Qualifications
- Hands-on maintenance of electrical systems including HV, MV, LV switchgear and transformers.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical drives, UPS, ATS, and related equipment.
- Maintain cable containment, power/control cabling, and explosion-proof lighting in classified areas.
- Support DCS, PLC, SCADA, and process automation in terminal operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, and bus transfer systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair soft starters, VFDs, MCC, UPS, and related controls.
- Maintain explosion-proof lighting and electrical infrastructure in hazardous areas.
- Ensure SCADA/PLC/DCS integration with asset management and tank gauging systems.
