Job summary

9E Global is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 5-7 years of construction supervision experience in the UAE. You will read contract documents, supervise site activities, ensure QA/QC, and maintain records while upholding HSE standards.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, and the candidate will act as an ambassador for the company on site, coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site supervision and inspections as directed by the Senior Site Engineer.
• Document contractor activities including personnel, equipment, locations, work, and methods used.
• Report material deliveries and follow team leader instructions.
• Implement site quality control measures and procedures.
• Apply quality controls and procedures of the site.
• Prepare site measurements and surveying checks for the leader.
• Monitor construction work for compliance with quality standards and codes through inspections.

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
• Ensuring the contractor(s) are complying with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through observation, measurements, and testing as well as tracking quality assurance progress.
• Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
• Undertaking all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Senior Site Engineer.
• Document contractor activities within assigned areas, including personnel, equipment, work locations, reasons for work, and the methods used.
• Report material deliveries and follow all site instructions issued by the team leader.
• Implement all site quality control measures and procedures.
• Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures of the site.
• Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the leader
• Monitor construction work for compliance with quality standards, performance expectations, and applicable codes through regular inspections.
• Oversee Health and Safety of the construction works and report on violations

• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
