Overview

We are seeking an electrical inspector that will encompass inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and installations to verify their adherence to established guidelines and specifications. This role demands a meticulous approach, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols in all electrical operations.

Your role
Inspection Duties
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and blueprints to assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
Code Compliance
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Identify non‑compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions to ensure conformity with regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective measures taken.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections for future reference and regulatory purposes.
Collaboration
  • Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address electrical compliance issues and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions related to electrical inspections, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
Safety Oversight
  • Promote and uphold electrical safety protocols and practices in accordance with industry standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure proper implementation of safety measures.
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role in the construction industry, particularly within the UAE or Gulf region.
  • In‑depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting.
