Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to supervise site activities, ensure compliance with design, safety standards and project timelines, and manage cable diversion and relocation works.

You will review method statements, drawings, and schedules, coordinate new electrical assets, and oversee power supply for roads and utilities, including substation relocations and lighting installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, roads, or transportation projects.
• Strong experience in LV/MV/HV networks, substations, street lighting, and utility diversions.
• Experience coordinating with utility authorities and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical cable diversions, rerouting, and relocation works on site.
• Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, SLDs, and load schedules.
• Coordinate new electrical assets, feeder pillars, and service terminations per TAQA standards.
• Manage temporary and permanent power supply for road and infrastructure utilities.
• Oversee substation relocation, shutdown coordination, and authority approvals.
• Oversee street lighting relocation and under-bridge lighting installations.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, quality, and HSE compliance.
