Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to supervise cable diversion works and coordinate new electrical assets for road and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years in infrastructure utilities, and strong knowledge of LV/MV/HV networks, substations and street lighting, plus experience coordinating with authorities and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, roads, or transportation projects.
• Strong experience in LV/MV/HV networks, substations, street lighting, and utility diversions.
• Experience coordinating with utility authorities and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical cable diversion rerouting and relocation works
• Ensure proper cable protection measures during construction activities
• Review method statements material submittents shop drawings SLDs and load schedules
• Coordinate new electrical assets feeder pillars and service terminations as per TAQA standards
• Manage temporary and permanent power supply for road and infrastructure utilities
• Oversee substation relocation shutdown coordination and authority approvals
• Supervise street lighting relocation cable rerouting and under-bridge lighting installations
• Monitor testing commissioning quality and HSE compliance
