Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Dubai to join our engineering team. You will create and maintain electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN, support wiring diagrams and panel layouts, and collaborate with engineers on design modifications.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC, with opportunities for ongoing learning and career development within a global company.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or related field.
• Basic knowledge of EPLAN or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of electrical symbols, circuit design and schematic standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC.
• Prior knowledge/internship or experience on MV power distribution and solution systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit electrical schematics using EPLAN.
• Assist in preparing wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings.
• Support engineers with design modifications and technical documentation.
• Organize and manage project files, folders and version control.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to design discussions.
