Job summary

Eaton is seeking an EPLAN Design/Automation Engineer in Dubai to lead end-to-end engineering and quotation for customized pre-wired distribution boards. You will focus on Bidmanager and EPLAN-based workflows, interfacing with EEC developers and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include creating engineering drawings, developing macros, and ensuring data quality for automated engineering. Fluent English is required; German is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of planning and engineering of customized pre wired distribution boards.
• Experience with Bidmanager, EPLAN Electric P8, and Pro Panel.
• Familiarity with IEC 61439 and LV engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering drawings using EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel.
• Develop and maintain standardized macros to support repeatability and reuse.
• Collaborate with EEC Development to validate engineering logic and data.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing and Digital Engineering to align projects and improve processes.
