Job summary

ZULEKHA HOSPITAL LLC is seeking a qualified assistant to support the neurologist for EEG and EMG procedures, including preparing patients, attaching monitoring devices, and explaining test procedures. The role requires UAE healthcare licensing and precise handling of 32-channel EEG/EMG setups.

You will set up and calibrate equipment, review records, interview patients, maintain the lab, and ensure quality control.

Responsibilities

ASSIST THE NEUROLOGIST FOR EEG AND EMG PROCEDURES Acquire appropriate physician order requisitionsshould have applied for UAE healthcare licensing strong EEG procedures strong 10-20 electrode placement Brain death recording Sleep deprived EEG Sleep EEG Electromyographyshould have expertise in 32 channel Intraoperative Neuro Monitoring Demonstrate knowledge of equipment utilization and patient instruction and accurate lead placement Prepares patient for testing by attaching monitoring devices and explaining test procedures Sets up and calibrates necessary equipment Reviews patient records and interviews patients to obtain additional information Records observations and analyzes test data to ensure appropriate data is collected Maintains lab equipment ensures room is clean institutes quality control procedures Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs minor repairs Write patient information in the medical records notebook Enter patient information in the EEG Log Book Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development
