Education Procurement Lead (SAP S/4HANA)

Job summary

Fortes Investment is seeking a Procurement Officer with end-to-end procurement experience, preferably within the education sector, to work closely with school teams and suppliers in Dubai. Immediate joining is preferred.

You will manage requisitions, issue POs and contracts, source qualified suppliers, monitor delivery and vendor performance, and help optimize procurement processes and spend across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
• CIPS Level 4 certification preferred.
• Experience in school procurement or with educational resources suppliers to schools.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and market pricing.
• Hands-on experience with procurement ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of educational resources, including reusable teaching and learning materials, consumables and books, together with IT equipment, marketing materials and selected AMCs.
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders and contracts in line with approved budgets, and ensure cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers for goods, services, and works.
• Track outstanding purchase orders, coordinate deliveries with suppliers and school teams, and resolve shortages and quality issues.
• Manage selected Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely renewals.
• Review and continuously improve procurement processes, controls, and compliance.
• Analyze annual spend by category and strengthen the vendor base to support business needs.
