Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking an experienced Editorial Delivery Lead in Dubai to oversee a team of copyeditors, content engineers, proofreaders and rights specialists. You will coordinate SAFe planning, manage budgets, timelines and cross-functional workflows to ensure high-quality educational materials.

You will train staff on new technologies, including AI tools, and drive reuse of assets across print and digital channels, while ensuring accessibility and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Publishing, or a related field.
• 8 years of editorial experience in educational publishing.
• 5 years of experience managing large, multi-dimensional projects and interdisciplinary teams.
• 5 years of experience managing contractors, budgets, and workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Monday.com, Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Confluence.
• Experience with content management systems and digital asset management.
• Experience integrating AI tools into publishing workflows.
• Knowledge of print and digital media processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of copyeditors, content engineers, proofreaders, and rights & permissions specialists.
• Oversee contract work including sourcing, budgets, contracts, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish workflows, schedules, and deliverables.
• Participate in SAFe planning and ceremonies.
• Track project progress and develop solutions for active projects.
• Ensure materials meet accessibility, technical, and quality standards.
• Manage reprint corrections and online change documents.
• Train staff on new technologies, including AI tools and software.
