Job summary

GEMS International School - Dubai Hills (GIS) invites applications for an experienced Economics Teacher to join our IB World School. • At least 3 years of Secondary Economics teaching experience.

• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.

• Build positive relationships with parents and the wider school community to support student growth and wellbeing.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflection to continuously enhance teaching practice.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Economics.
• A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable experience teaching Secondary Economics, ideally within an IBCurriculum School (preferred but not essential).
• Experience teaching MYP & DP is preferred but not essential.
• A passion for inspiring young learners through innovative and inquiry based teaching.
