Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking an Ecom Fulfilment Assistant in Dubai to efficiently process online orders from store inventory, ensuring accuracy and brand-compliant presentation. The role collaborates with store management and the e-commerce team to drive timely dispatch and high-quality customer experiences.

You will pick, pack, label, and ship orders, perform quality checks, and support returns while maintaining stock accuracy and a safe, clean fulfilment area.

Responsibilities

• Pick items from the shop floor/back-of-house based on order details such as size, color, and SKU.
• Pack orders following brand standards, including folding, tissue wrapping, tagging, invoice inclusion, and sealing.
• Prepare shipments by printing labels, attaching air waybill (AWB), handing over to courier, and updating dispatch status.
• Perform quality checks to ensure correct item, no damage, removed security tags, and correct quantities.
• Support returns processing, including receiving items, inspecting, relabeling, restocking, and updating the system with return information.
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and proper put-away procedures.
• Keep the fulfilment area organized and compliant with safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
• Escalate issues related to out-of-stock items, damaged items, missing items, or system issues.

• The Ecom Fulfilment Assistant ensures efficient processing of online orders from store inventory, maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation. What You Will Do

Order Fulfillment

• Pick items from the shop floor/back-of-house based on order details such as size, color, and SKU.
• Pack orders following brand standards, including folding, tissue wrapping, tagging, invoice inclusion, and sealing.
• Prepare shipments by printing labels, attaching air waybill (AWB), handing over to courier, and updating dispatch status.
• Perform quality checks to ensure the right item is picked, no damage is present, security tags are removed, and quantities are correct.
• Support returns processing, including receiving items, inspecting them, relabeling, restocking, and updating the system with return information.
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and proper put-away procedures.
• Keep the fulfilment area organized and compliant with safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
• Quickly elevate issues related to out-of-stock items, damaged items, missing items, or system issues to appropriate parties.

What Qualifies You For The Role

• Strong attention to detail, especially concerning sizes, barcodes, order notes, and packaging standards.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under stringent daily cut-off times.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with store personnel, couriers, and e-commerce support.
• Basic English proficiency for reading order notes, addresses, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle cartons as required.
• Reliability and punctuality, comfortable with working shifts, weekends, and during peak periods.
• Experience in retail operations, stockroom management, warehouse environments, or e-commerce fulfillment is preferable.
• Experience with scanners, POS/OMS systems, or courier portals is a plus.
