Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is recruiting an Ecom Fulfilment Assistant to ensure efficient processing of online orders from store inventory. You will pick, pack and prepare shipments, perform quality checks and support returns, maintaining stock accuracy and adhering to brand standards.

The role requires basic English, ability to meet daily cut-offs, and strong teamwork with store personnel, couriers, and the e-commerce team.

• Order Fulfilment: process online orders from store inventory.
• Pick items from shop floor/back-of-house as per order details.
• Pack orders to brand standards with labeling and invoices.
• Prepare shipments with labels, AWB, courier handover and dispatch updates.
• Perform quality checks for correct items, no damage, and proper quantities.
• Support returns: receive, inspect, relabel, restock and update system.
• Maintain stock accuracy with regular checks and proper put-away.
• Keep fulfilment area organized, safe and clean.
• Escalate issues for out-of-stock, damaged, missing, or system problems promptly.

Overview Of The Role

• The Ecom Fulfilment Assistant ensures efficient processing of online orders from store inventory, maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation. The role requires adherence to brand guidelines and seamless collaboration with store management and the e-commerce team. Success factors include timely dispatch and reduced error rates, contributing to positive customer experiences and loyalty.

What You Will Do

Order Fulfillment

• Pick items from the shop floor/back-of-house based on order details such as size, color, and SKU.
• Pack orders following brand standards, including folding, tissue wrapping, tagging, invoice inclusion, and sealing.
• Prepare shipments by printing labels, attaching air waybill (AWB), handing over to courier, and updating dispatch status.
• Perform quality checks to ensure the right item is picked, no damage is present, security tags are removed, and quantities are correct.
• Support returns processing, including receiving items, inspecting them, relabeling, restocking, and updating the system with return information.
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and proper put-away procedures.
• Keep the fulfilment area organized and compliant with safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
• Quickly escalation issues related to out-of-stock items, damaged items, missing items, or system issues to appropriate parties.

What Qualifies You For The Role

• Basic computer skills for email, scanning, printing labels, and system updates.
• Strong attention to detail, especially concerning sizes, barcodes, order notes, and packaging standards.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under stringent daily cut-off times.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with store personnel, couriers, and e-commerce support.
• Basic English proficiency for reading order notes, addresses, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle cartons as required.
• Reliability and punctuality, comfortable with working shifts, weekends, and during peak periods.
• Experience in retail operations, stockroom management, warehouse environments, or e-commerce fulfillment is preferable.
• Experience with scanners, POS/OMS systems, or courier portals is a plus.
