Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a senior tax technology professional in the UAE to own complex field-level mappings from SAP and non-SAP billing systems to PINT-AE UBL for outbound invoices and from PINT-AE to ERP posting data for inbound invoices. You will maintain validation rule packs and update mappings as regulations change, ensuring compliant invoicing workflows.

The role requires hands-on Peppol BIS/PINT mappings, strong UAE VAT knowledge, and experience with XML/UBL, Schematron, and JSON.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in tax technology, e invoicing or ERP finance.
• 2+ years hands-on with Peppol BIS/PINT mappings (UBL 2.1).
• Strong UAE VAT knowledge and tax reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own field-level mapping specifications from SAP and non-SAP billing/AP systems to PINT-AE UBL for outbound invoices, and from PINT-AE to reconciliation keys and ERP posting data for inbound invoices, including transformation rules, code-list mappings, VAT category codes, credit-note reasons and conditional logic per entity and document type.
• Maintain the PINT-AE validation rule pack (Schematron and code lists) and the sample-document library; track MoF/FTA and Peppol Authority releases and run impact assessments.
• Advise on Tax Data Document (TDD) handling, message-level responses (MLR), invoice types and scenarios (credit notes, self-billing, provisional and final invoices, price adjustments, multi-currency, cross-border).
• Facilitate mapping workshops and sign-offs with the client's tax, AR/AP and IT stakeholders; align with the accredited service provider's approved mapping artefacts where they exist.
• Define regulatory test scenarios and support SIT/UAT and hypercare on compliance questions; advise on archiving, retention and audit requirements under UAE tax procedures law and VAT regulations.
