Job summary

Masafi, a Dubai-based ecommerce entity, seeks an Accountant / Finance Executive to manage daily accounting activities and support accurate financial reporting. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring VAT compliance and precise records. The role requires hands-on Dynamics ERP experience and strong Excel skills.

The ideal candidate will bring e-commerce accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Hands-on accounting/finance experience, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Reconcile e-commerce sales, marketplace settlements, payment gateways, refunds, and returns.
Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end closing.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Assist with VAT, audit, and statutory compliance requirements.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Support management with financial analysis and other finance-related activities.
