Job summary

Masafi, a Dubai-based ecommerce entity, seeks an Accountant / Finance Executive to manage daily accounting activities and support accurate financial reporting. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring VAT compliance and precise records. The role requires hands-on Dynamics ERP experience and strong Excel skills.

The ideal candidate will bring e-commerce accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Hands-on accounting/finance experience, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile e-commerce sales, marketplace settlements, payment gateways, refunds, and returns.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end closing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with VAT, audit, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support management with financial analysis and other finance-related activities.
