Job summary

Indu Logistics in Dubai is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team. You will record transactions, prepare timely financial statements, and manage month-end and year-end closings.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting or finance, 4–6 years of experience in retail or distribution, and strong knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, VAT, and Microsoft Dynamics BC. Immediate joining preferred, UAE residency desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CA Inter / ACCA CMA or similar qualification is an advantage.
• 4–6 years of experience.
• Experience in retail, distribution, or free-zone operations is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems or Tally and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience required.

Responsibilities

• Record all accounting transactions.
• Prepare financial statements on time.
• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Handle monthly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable including intercompany.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Track payments to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain financial data confidentiality and perform backups as necessary.
• Prepare cost sheets.
• Calculate landed costs and book freight invoices.
• Reconcile stock and perform ad hoc stock audit support.
• Support ERP implementation and finance process improvements.
• Support VAT tax compliance.
