Job summary

Mohamed Hilal Group in the UAE is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support financial operations across its multi-brand luxury retail portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have CMA or ACCA and 3–6 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of UAE regulations. The role collaborates with stores, warehouses, and corporate teams to ensure robust financial controls and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CMA or ACCA certification required/preferred.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience (retail, luxury, or F&B preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end closing.
• Maintain and optimize accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure IFRS and UAE financial regulations compliance.
• Handle inventory accounting and cost tracking for retail.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across stores, warehouses, and corporate teams.
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and expense controls.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge along with a recognized qualification such as CMA or ACCA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end closing
• Maintain and optimize accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations
• Handle inventory accounting and cost tracking (critical for retail environment)
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across retail stores, warehouses, and corporate teams
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and expense controls

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
• Professional certification: CMA or ACCA (mandatory/preferred)
• 3–6 years of accounting experience (preferably in retail, luxury, or F&B sectors)
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance module)
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, VAT, and compliance in UAE
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in multi‑entity or multi‑store retail environments
• Exposure to inventory‑heavy businesses
• Familiarity with ERP integrations and automation
