Job summary

GEMS Legacy School - Dubai in Abu Dhabi seeks a Music teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, implement the curriculum, assess progress, and enrich students' musical skills and confidence. You will support concerts, choirs, ensembles, and other events while maintaining instruments and resources safely.

The role involves collaboration with the Music Department and broader school team to nurture talent and create a positive learning environment. No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop students' musical knowledge, performance, creativity, and confidence.
• Support school concerts, performances, competitions, assemblies, and musical events.
• Conduct and support choirs, bands, ensembles, or other musical activities.
• Maintain and safely use musical instruments, equipment, and resources.
• Identify and support students with musical talent through enrichment opportunities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Music Department and wider school team.
