Job summary
GEMS Metropole School - Motor City in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to foster creativity, technical ability and confidence through performance, composition and musical understanding.
You will contribute to concerts, productions and enrichment activities, guiding students of varying abilities to participate and excel in school performances within a supportive arts program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music with a recognised professional teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Music education, performance and creative development.
- Experience motivating students across ability levels and activities beyond classroom teaching.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons that support creativity and skill development.
- Teach performance, composition, listening, rhythm, melody, harmony and interpretation.
- Create practical learning experiences for individual and group performances.
- Develop student confidence in rehearsals, presentations and public performances.
- Assess achievement through performance, composition and listening tasks.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve technique and musicality.
- Prepare resources and activities to maintain high engagement.
- Encourage exploration of diverse genres and cultures.
