About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Managerto join Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supervise property operations, particularly the Front Office, to ensure alignment with Jumeirah service standards and property strategy.
  • Conduct room inspections to assess availability and compliance with operational standards.
  • Coordinate activities within designated areas to improve departmental cooperation and service delivery.
  • Attending daily briefings and communication meetings to disseminate information and ensure team alignment.
  • Manage booking situations, including handling overbooking scenarios when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of lobby and entrance areas, coordinating with Housekeeping and Concierge teams.
  • Assist with VIP arrivals and departures, providing guidance to Guest Services Executives / Team Leaders.
  • Monitor personnel behavior and appearance to uphold professional service standards.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge within the department.
  • Address guest compaints, coordinate corrective actions, report incidents, and take immediate actions to resolve emergencies, ensuring continuity of guest services and compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures. Additionally, manage team performance and adherence to company standards, policies and procedures and fulfill any other duties as requested by management.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or any other relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Guest Services / Public Relations / Front Office roles within the luxury hospitality industry
  • Exposure of handling Property Management system
  • Software competencies - Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Project management and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in English
