Job summary

The Boring Company, Dubai, seeks an experienced TBM Operator to drive Prufrock on the Dubai Loop. You will own machine performance on your shift, coordinating with the Operations Center to ensure on-line and on-grade progress and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include operating an EPBM, maintaining ground stability, reviewing schematics, and producing daily logs, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork on a high-profile regional project.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and eligibility to work in the UAE or GCC region.
• 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience used in excavations and material handling.
• Experience operating Earth Pressure Balance Machines (TBMs) is preferred.
• Ability to read plans, schematics and communicate effectively with team.

Responsibilities

• Operate an Earth Pressure Balance Machine (EPBM) within varying ground conditions.
• Manage ground conditioning to maintain a positive Earth Pressure during operations.
• Review hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to diagnose and repair issues with mechanical systems.
• Manage project documentation, tunnel alignment profiles and soil properties.
• Maintain and produce operational reports and daily activity logs.
• Promote safety culture in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Train and mentor other team members.
• Operate specialized construction equipment and vehicles safely and productively.
