Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus is seeking a proactive Student Recruitment Assistant to manage front-line enquiries, deliver recruitment events and support applicants through the admissions journey. The role focuses on customer service across phone, email and on-campus events, with emphasis on timely responses and CRM-driven follow‑ups to convert prospects into enrolled students.

Based in Dubai, you will work within the Student Recruitment and Admissions Team, liaising with the Admissions

Qualifications

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working within a similar environment with multi-channel customer experience.
• Competent in IT packages including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in face-to-face customer service and events.
• Demonstrable professional and proactive approach.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience using initiative to resolve non-routine problems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquirers by phone or email and manage day-to-day queries at events.
• Support prospective students throughout their journey to enrolment.
• Coordinate and deliver a range of recruitment activities and events.
• Organise and maintain a calendar of student recruitment events and manage bookings.
• Provide information and guidance on undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes.
• Support the student ambassador scheme and collaborations with external contacts.
