Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Dubai is seeking an experienced Stakeholder Manager – Design to lead stakeholder coordination, authority approvals, NOCs, and project interfaces for major infrastructure initiatives.

The role acts as the primary interface between the design team, clients, government bodies, utility providers, developers, and contractors, ensuring stakeholder requirements are identified, incorporated into the design, and approved within the project programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in UAE infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Dubai authorities (RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, etc.).
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and managing authority comments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder management and authority coordination through the design lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain Stakeholder Management Plans and approval trackers.
• Coordinate with RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other authorities.
• Prepare and track NOCs, permits, and design approvals.
• Review authority requirements and communicate them to design teams.
• Lead meetings and coordinate design coordination sessions.
• Identify risks and mitigation related to stakeholder interfaces.
• Maintain records of stakeholder communications and approvals.
• Provide guidance to Stakeholder Engineers/Coordinators.
• Ensure submissions comply with Dubai authority standards.
• Prepare regular stakeholder/status reports for management and client.
