Job summary

Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced Short Term Maternity Nurse in Dubai to support a private family with newborn care from the baby’s arrival. This monthly contract is live-out, with 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week, and a flexible start around January.

Applicants should have extensive newborn care experience, current infant first aid/CPR, professional references, and excellent English. The nurse must arrange her own accommodation and be available to start in January with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Extensive, demonstrable experience caring for newborns in a professional maternity nursing capacity.
• Current infant first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent knowledge of newborn health, hygiene, feeding and safety.
• Strong professional references from private families.
• Excellent English communication with the family.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert newborn care, ensuring the baby’s safety, comfort and wellbeing.
• Support feeding routines, including breast-feeding guidance and bottle-feeding where required.
• Manage all aspects of newborn care including bathing, changing, nappies and settling.
• Establish sleeping routines and follow safe-sleep guidance.
• Monitor the baby’s wellbeing and developmental progress.
• Offer practical guidance to parents on newborn care and routines.
