Job summary

GMG is seeking an experienced Store General Manager for a flagship Everyday Goods Retail store in Dubai, UAE. You will own the commercial and operational performance, driving sales, profitability, and a superior customer experience while leading a large store team.

The ideal candidate has 10 years in retail operations, with at least 5 years in large-format stores, and a proven ability to coach and develop leaders, optimize inventory, and execute KPI-driven strategies in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related discipline.
• 10 years of retail operations experience.
• At least 5 years leading large-format stores.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Strong understanding of store operations, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
• Strong analytical ability with KPI interpretation and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead all areas of store operations to achieve sales, profitability, and operational targets.
