Job summary

Khatib & Alami International invites applications for a Senior Site Project Manager to lead Dubai Buildings Projects. You will oversee high‑complexity supervision on site, manage teams, cost/schedule controls, QA/QC, HSSE, and client relations to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in Civil Engineering with Middle East exposure, plus PM leadership and strong communication skills. PMP/PE credentials are preferred; UAE project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
• Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred.
• 15+ years of Civil Engineering/Planning experience in a top-tier regional/multinational consultancy with construction supervision expertise.
• Experience in the Middle East.
• Excellent knowledge of construction supervision services.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager - Supervision and Proposals with development of supervision proposals, including input on costs and margins, reviewing submissions, and risk input.
• Ensure contract documents signed and NOCs/approvals sent during pre-construction.
• Lead internal and external project kick-off meetings and align stakeholders for major/high-complexity projects.
• Review and approve contractor work programs and submittals to meet contract requirements.
• Review, comment, and approve contractors’ submittals (staffing, org charts, shop drawings, method statements, etc.).
• Guide project scope baselines and success criteria to stakeholders for major projects.
• Review and approve QA/QC and HSE plans and project risk management plans.
• Monitor project schedules and investigate delays with contractors.
• Review RFIs and liaise with design support teams for design queries.
• Ensure HSSE procedures and safety inspections on sites; document defects.
• Guide take-over procedures, defects liability, final accounts, and certificates.
• Distribute updated construction drawings to stakeholders promptly.
• Develop project progress reports with site teams.
• Review and approve payment certificates and unit rates for new work items.
