Omanyp is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead on-site construction of high-rise buildings and hotel projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. You will coordinate resources, contractors, and consultants, while providing technical direction and leadership to the on-site team.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in the construction/engineering industry.
• 5+ years in Dubai.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• A Dubai Engineer license is required (Unlimited License).
• Strong understanding of local codes, regulations, and safety standards in Dubai.
• Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of high-rise buildings and hotel projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality control processes.
• Manage day-to-day operations at the project site, coordinating resources, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related technical issues and liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants.
• Provide technical direction and supervision to the engineering team on-site.
• Ensure construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, addressing delays or issues on time.
• Review and approve material and equipment submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documents.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to junior engineers and site staff.
