Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Project Director to lead delivery of major infrastructure projects. You will provide senior leadership across project delivery, with emphasis on Independent Verification (IV) and Independent Supervision Consultancy (ISC) experience.

Role centered on strategic direction and client engagement. The position requires 20+ years in project management or related fields, with strong governance, risk and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 20+ years in project management, engineering, construction, or consultancy.
• Proven leadership of IV/ISC or similar delivery assignments.
• Strong knowledge of project management, controls, risk, and stakeholder mgmt.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Chartership or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for complex project delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through the project lifecycle.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants and authorities.
• Ensure delivery per scope, programme, quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Oversee project performance, risk, resources, and delivery strategies.
• Drive coordination across engineering, construction supervision, controls, commercial and other functions.
• Ensure compliance with standards, governance, and contractual requirements.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigations.
• Support client engagement and contribute to business development.
