Job summary

AECOM in Dubai, UAE seeks a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor - Post Contract to oversee all post-contract financial and contractual matters on building projects. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate cost management, documentation, and timely project delivery.

The role requires a professional approach to problem-solving, meticulous records, and experience in cost reporting, variation processing, and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other Construction related field.
• 4-5 years post graduate experience.
• 2-3 years in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer all post-contract financial matters, including cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control
• Process and evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders with thorough analysis and documentation
• Prepare detailed cost reports, financial statements, and project valuations for stakeholders
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances
• Negotiate and resolve contractual disputes and claims in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, correspondence, and records in an organized manner
• Conduct regular site inspections and measurements to verify work completion and quality standards
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, architects, and clients to ensure alignment on financial and contractual matters
• Prepare final accounts and settlement documentation upon project completion
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations, and industry standards
• Analyze and report on project financial performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization
