Job summary

Careers International is hiring a Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing for a UAE-based construction contractor. The role focuses on managing plumbing execution, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating with MEP trades on site.

Minimum 5+ years in plumbing for building projects, GCC experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, with on-site work in Dubai. Company-provided benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of plumbing execution experience in building projects; GCC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes IPC/UPC and local authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of plumbing, drainage and water supply works for the building/zone.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
• Plan manpower and materials for plumbing activities and track progress.
• Coordinate with consultants, other MEP trades and civil team for site interfaces.
• Supervise pressure testing, flushing, commissioning and snagging.
• Guide site engineers and foremen; ensure quality and HSE compliance.
