Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai is seeking a Public Relations Manager to lead proactive PR strategies, launch campaigns for new openings, and safeguard the brand across our luxury hospitality portfolio.

You will cultivate media relationships across the Middle East, manage press materials, coordinate events and media visits, mentor juniors, and travel to Ibiza to support initiatives. This role reports to the Public Relations Department and is based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Public Relations, agency experience preferred.
• Hotel pre-opening experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Strong media relations with the Middle East region.
• Creative problem solving with ownership mindset.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel to Ibiza for PR initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans and implements proactive Public Relations strategies to promote FIVE and enhance brand reputation.
• Drives the launch of PR campaigns for new hotel openings with extensive media coverage.
• Cultivates relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets and journalists.
• Oversees press releases, interviews, quotes, articles, and other PR communications.
• Crafts editorial pitches and narratives that reflect FIVE’s tone and brand.
• Coordinates media visits and handles media queries, interviews, and speaker engagements.
• Organises and promotes PR activities, including press events and photoshoots.
• Develops and maintains a network of industry experts for collaborations.
• Stays updated on industry trends and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentors junior team members and supports cross-functional collaboration.
• Works across Dubai, Ibiza, Zurich and New York, ensuring brand consistency.
