Job summary

Asico Real Estate Llc. in Dubai is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to own the commercial side of landscaping projects, pricing tenders, and preparing payment applications and certificates for hardscape and softscape work.

You will price bids to protect margin, maintain quantity takeoffs, and ensure timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers. The role requires 5–8 years in QS and UAE experience, with a strong grasp of cost control and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years as a QS, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Proven record pricing landscape tenders and producing monthly payment applications and certificates.
• Knowledge of hardscape/landscape items and UAE supplier rates.
• RICS membership or progress toward is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial build-up of every bid, from enquiry review to submission.
• Carry out quantity takeoffs for hardscape and softscape works and maintain a rate database.
• Prepare tender pricing summaries, preliminaries, overheads, margin and risk allowances.
• Prepare interim and final payment applications and certify payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Track bid status, win/loss reasons and actual rates to improve pricing.
• Prepare post-tender negotiation positions and value engineering options.
