Job summary

Caliberly is seeking a motivated Junior Legal Assistant to support our legal team in Dubai. You will assist with legal research, document preparation, case file management, client communication, and daily legal operations while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The role is ideal for an early-career legal professional aiming to gain practical experience in UAE legal procedures and client coordination. Strong organisation, willingness to learn, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law or Legal Studies.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years in legal support roles preferred.
• Basic understanding of legal terminology and research methods.
• Familiarity with UAE legal system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, review, and organise legal documents and notices.
• Draft legal memoranda, summaries, and internal reports under supervision.
• Proofread documents for accuracy and proper formatting.
• Maintain templates and filing/version-control procedures.
• Assist in compiling supporting documents for legal matters.
• Ensure documents are reviewed by authorised professionals before submission.
• Conduct preliminary legal research under supervision.
• Gather information from reliable legal sources for case prep.
• Prepare case summaries, background notes, and indexes.
• Manage case files and maintain records in CMS.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending documentation.
• Escalate complex questions to senior legal team.
