Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Maintain books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Monitor customer payments and supplier balances.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables as needed.
• Coordinate with departments regarding financial documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and basic financial reports.
• Support VAT documentation and tax records.
