Job summary

GAC Group in Dubai seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance the IT backbone across offices and operations. You will manage servers, network gear, and security updates while assisting in projects like relocations.

The role requires a Computer Engineering background, CCNA certification, and hands-on experience with switches/routers, printers, and vendor liaison. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• CCNA or network/security certification.
• Experience configuring switches/routers, printers, and MS/Novell servers.
• 2+ years in hardware design/maintenance of PCs and network infra; strong helpdesk exposure.
• Excellent English; knowledge of a sub-Asian language is a plus.
• Hold UAE Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users on IT equipment and peripherals.
• Maintain configuration details of IT equipment and upgrades.
• Maintain and administer network equipment incl. routers, switches, Fax Servers.
• Back up and verify data of network servers.
• Assist in IT infra projects, e.g., office relocations.
• Apply security updates to all computers and servers.
• Liaise with Telecom vendors for IT procurement and support.
