Job summary

Houlihan Lokey in Dubai invites applications for a six-month Off-Cycle Internship in Financial Restructuring. This full-time, on-site role offers exposure to creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed M&A within a leading global advisory firm.

You will work with deal teams on advisory services, participate in negotiations, and develop strong valuation and financial modelling skills, while receiving mentorship from senior professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record.
• Genuine interest in Financial Restructuring.
• Understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications.
• Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills.
• Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Experience in Leverage Finance or Financial Restructuring desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court restructuring transactions.
• Provide advisory services in stressed and distressed situations.
• Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients.
• Providing distressed M&A advisory.
• Advisory in relation to debt and equity raising in stressed and distressed situations.
• Interns play a similar role to Financial Analyst and are typically members of deal teams comprising at least one managing director, director, vice president, associate and financial analyst.
