Job summary

VSS Holdings ME in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager – Finance & Operations to manage accounting, compliance coordination, banking operations, and internal reporting for the group across UAE and India practices.

The role requires 4–8 years in accounting/finance operations, UAE experience preferred, a Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification, excellent English, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach in a lean, small-team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or strong accounting qualification with UAE experience.
• Experience with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory documentation.
• 4–8 years in accounting, finance operations, compliance coordination or business operations.
• Experience with banking processes and treasury hygiene.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and finance: maintain books, AP/AR, reconciliations, and monthly close; prepare MIS and supporting schedules; assist budgeting and cash-flow visibility; ensure UAE VAT and tax compliance.
• Banking and treasury operations: manage banking activities, payments, transfers, account documentation, and KYC updates; coordinate banking resolutions.
• Corporate compliance / company secretarial: coordinate with PROs, legal advisors, renewals, licenses, board documentation, and regulatory calendars.
• Deal flow / internal coordination: liaise with partners and India-based team; prepare summaries; track items; draft emails and updates.
• Business operations support: assist e-commerce operations, product listings, order tracking, and vendor follow-ups.
