Confidential Careers is seeking a proactive Finance Manager in Dubai to lead the finance function for a small events company. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis, ensuring VAT and UAE corporate tax compliance while maintaining accurate financial records using Xero.

The role demands 8–10 years of finance experience, a strong grasp of UAE tax regulations, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in events or travel.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations and VAT compliance.
• Proficient in Xero and other financial management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance operations with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze profitability by project and client to support decisions.
• Prepare VAT returns and UAE corporate tax reporting.
• Produce monthly management reports and variance analyses.
• Utilize Xero for accounting and reporting.
