Job summary

DP World is seeking a Facilities Technical Engineer in Dubai, UAE to support large-scale logistics and port infrastructure operations. This role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of building systems, including MEP and HVAC, while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include overseeing maintenance programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in managing facility operations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building systems including MEP, HVAC, and civil infrastructure.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance planning in complex facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and facility optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical operations and maintenance of facility systems including MEP, HVAC, and civil infrastructure.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building assets and equipment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliable functioning of facility infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections to evaluate asset condition, operational efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Review and manage service requests, work orders, and maintenance schedules.
