This position focuses on planning, executing, and reviewing external audits, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced professional services environment in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Strong UAE external audit experience in a professional accounting/audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Experience in managing multiple audit engagements and teams.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and finalize external audit engagements in accordance with ISA and IFRS.
• Lead audit teams and supervise Seniors, Associates and junior team members.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements and audit documentation.
• Manage client relationships and act as the key point of contact for audit matters.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate audit procedures are performed.
• Ensure engagements are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and training to audit team members.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and VAT requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and contribute to business development activities.
