Job summary

Tate, an independent brand within Kingspan Group, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage budgeting, pricing, and commercial controls for data centre installations across the Middle East from Dubai. The role involves tendering, site visits, and cost optimization with occasional travel to client meetings and sites.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and a proven track record in complex projects, with strong communication and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting and cost control for projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to review tender documents and prepare price estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to identify requirements and risks.
• Create detailed schedule of works and quantify Bill of Quantities.
• Conduct site visits and inform tender pricing with findings.
• Review budgets with Project Manager to optimize construction costs.
• Procure sub-contractors and manage labour and material budgets.
• Prepare monthly valuations and invoices with supporting data.
• Record variations and ensure revenue recovery per contract.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with sub-contractors.
