Job summary

Sisco, a recruitment consultancy, is hiring on behalf of a client for the position of Superintendent in Dubai, UAE. The role involves supervising day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and site teams, and ensuring progress aligns with project requirements.

You will monitor safety, inspect workmanship, maintain records, and support timely project completion while communicating with project managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/construction discipline preferred.
• Certifications in construction safety or project/site management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure activities progress according to project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors, workers, equipment, and site resources.
• Monitor construction progress and identify potential schedule or execution issues.
• Enforce site safety procedures and applicable health and safety requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure required quality and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain site records and provide regular progress and operational updates.
• Support resolution of technical and site-related issues to minimize project delays.
