Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Dubai Festival City seeks a Cluster Reservations Agent to manage reservations, upsell services, and maintain strong knowledge of all IHG DFC hotels. The role requires at least 1 year in front office or reservations, with advanced English and familiarity with Opera PMS. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front office or reservations experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Advanced in writing and speaking English.
• Knowledge of Opera is desirable.
• Knowledge of Arabic language desired.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members.

Responsibilities

• Sell InterContinental Hotels Group products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques.
• Promote Hotel’s products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of Opera PMS and other IHG DFC Hotels in your region.
• Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email.
• Record special billing arrangements for groups and conventions.
• Liaise with Front Office Manager or Finance Manager for reservations requiring credit approval.
• Prepare reservation sales reports and daily occupancy monitoring.
