Job summary

IIQAF Group in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Officer to manage insurance claims from notification through settlement, reviewing documentation, assessing eligibility, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of various insurance lines, experience with claims management software and CRM systems, and the ability to coordinate with policyholders, brokers, and service providers to resolve complex claims

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Previous experience as Claims Officer or similar roles is preferred.
Experience across general/health/motor/life/property/commercial insurance is desirable.
Strong understanding of insurance policies, procedures, and settlements.
Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience using claims management software and CRM systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, review, and process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
Verify policy coverage, claim documentation, and supporting evidence.
Assess claim eligibility according to policy terms and underwriting guidelines.
Coordinate with policyholders, brokers, healthcare providers, and third-party service providers.
Investigate claims and gather information to support decisions.
Maintain accurate claim records using claims management systems.
Prepare claim assessments, reports, and settlement documentation.
Communicate claim status updates and settlement decisions to customers.
Ensure timely processing of claims per service standards.
Identify potentially fraudulent claims and escalate for investigation.
Collaborate with underwriting, finance, legal, and customer service teams on complex claims.
Ensure compliance with UAE insurance regulations and internal policies.
Monitor turnaround times and contribute to operational efficiency.
Handle inquiries and resolve claim-related issues professionally.
Support internal audits with complete claim documentation.
