Job summary

AM PM in Dubai is seeking an experienced Category Manager to own a product category within the UAE market. You will develop and execute the category strategy, manage the portfolio lifecycle, and drive key commercial KPIs.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, retail product knowledge, proficiency in Excel and Power BI, and fluent English. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize assortment, pricing, and profitability from day one.

Qualifications

3+ years in Category Management or product/commercial role.
Experience with retail products and end consumers.
Knowledge of category strategy, assortment, pricing, and PLM.
Strong analytical and commercial skills incl. sales, margin, cost, inventory turnover.
Advanced Excel, Power BI, and 1C skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the category and product strategy for the assigned territory.
Define product positioning, value proposition, pricing policy, and assortment strategy.
Analyze consumer demand, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities.
Develop and manage the assortment matrix for short- and long-term perspectives.
Manage the product lifecycle, including launches and phase-outs.
Formulate product requirements and market requests for the territory.
Manage and optimize product cost and profitability.
Monitor and improve KPIs: revenue, margin, sales, inventory turnover.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive category development.
