SPORTLUX in Dubai is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the end-to-end import and inbound logistics function, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant movement of goods into the UAE.

The role emphasizes UAE customs, international freight via air, sea and road, documentation rigor, and cost-optimisation, with responsibilities to guide a logistics team and align inbound activity with product launches and seasonal timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• 8-12+ years of experience in import, inbound logistics or international supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE import and customs procedures.
• Proven experience managing international freight by air, sea and road.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end import and inbound logistics from origin to UAE warehouse.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, factories, freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers.
• Monitor shipment status, transit times and delivery schedules; resolve issues.
• Ensure accurate preparation of import and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouses for inbound receiving, inspection and put-away.
• Oversee UAE customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage relationships with customs brokers and logistics service providers.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements; monitor costs and optimize processes.
• Track logistics KPIs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
