Job summary

Apex Group in Dubai seeks an Associate Vice President (Account Manager) to lead hedge fund accounting operations. You will oversee NAV calculations, investor reporting, and coordination with global support centers, while ensuring timely, accurate deliverables for fund clients.

The role requires 7–9 years' experience, strong Excel/Macros skills, and knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS. A CFA/MBA or ACCA/CA is preferred; Paxus experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years' experience in a similar role.
• Understanding US GAAP & IFRS reporting standards for various fund structures.
• Experience with complex fund structures and fund accounting as subject matter expert.
• Strong Excel skills including Macros; Paxus experience is a plus.
• Accountancy qualification (ACCA/CA) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in NAV preparation and review for hedge fund clients.
• Plan, schedule and manage daily client deliverables.
• Reconcile investment portfolios, dividends, interest and corporate actions.
• Coordinate with Apex support centers and internal teams.
• Prepare and review subscription/redemption packs and investor communications.
• Assist in financial statement prep and liaise with auditors.
